just when you think it can't get any more crazy....

 

at least there is the comfort of the outdoors and the pets to bring sanity to life. above is one of my favorites of the year...many in this group came out pretty cool.  this one was snapped from the car coming down Arctic Valley Road.  the light was just perfect. it had kind of been perfect all day.

the rest of these are mostly Arctic Valley and Independence Mine....another day i caught the colors and light just right. 

the news and work tear me down, the dogs and nature build me back up. 

today i slept in again and the dogs and i finally made our way out to  Kincaid to hit the beach.  there are still some leaves out there to be enjoyed.  they are not all down on the ground...probably more so on this side of town though.  perhaps tomorrow i will drive further south.  we shall see. 

i've been having some pretty lazy mornings.  

yesterday we looped around Kincaid but in the dunes/Jodphur side of the park.  the dunes are always a sight.  after that i headed out to Turnigan Arm to see what was out there.  it was windy yesterday.  

both days i was a bit chilled after the time out.  of course, with my heavy dose of covid exposure this past week at work i tend to find myself imagining symptoms.  i have been coughing more than i was....but it's also the change of seasons, so that is really not unusual.  

if i have covid i have the most mild form.  when i checked my temperature both days i was low...which made sense as the seasons are changing and it's easy to get chilled out there.  you sweat a bit and then you feel chilled.  easy also to imagine symptoms of covid.  both days i reheated and was back to normal feeling.

the iitoo is up to his usual tricks.  it's all about him.  supposedly he has covid, a very contagious disease but him and his people are still in total denial and in the land of idiots with regards to it.  his campaign manager just keeps saying he does everything he's supposed to or they all get tested all the time ( which is not preventative by the way).  when pushed about how trump doesn't wear a mask and mocks those who do...video now played of trump mocking biden in the debate this week.  ( did trump have covid then?) 

the guy then starts to mock biden's mask wearing as well, the reporter then interrupted him and said,"with all due respect, it's not Biden who is currently in the hospital with covid".  loved it.  he apparently did the same crap with Wallace, who was no doubt exposed at the event.  trumps family all walked in and took off their masks immediately.  the rules were that only the two candidates and wallace could be without masks.  if it's not "they get tested all the time" it turns to "they have freedom".  

the folks on the right have so completely lost their minds about covid and everything else.  they break every and all rules and then when they are called out they play victims, blame everyone else and then cling to freedoms which is ludicrous. they seem to never accept any responsibility...even when they are now inflicted with the virus themselves. 

trump, is supposed to be quarantined.  he has a easily transmitted virus and is hospitalized.  we would never allow our patients to leave their rooms let alone leave the hospital for a joy ride around the block.  it's crazy.  he apparently needed to be close to his adoring fans.  he exposed the secret service members ( the information on how many of them have gotten covid is not available).  he exposed anyone who would have to clean out and sanitize the car they rode in.  he makes people remove masks around him....even now.  i'm not sure if there is a special presidents entrance at this hospital but anytime you move a patient with covid around you risk having spread of the virus...which is why we avoid it.  also why we have "spotters" travel with moving patients to wipe down anything and make sure that as many precautions are taken as possible.

it was a prank that was irresponsible as can be.  

all done for theatrics and his fragile ego.  his doctor, who has been less than forthcoming with information, had just said he'd probably be released tomorrow...so why do this the day before he would get released?

the timeline is not right anyway.  what a surprise....more lies from this administration?  they were saying he gets tested daily, then just saying he gets tested a lot...when was his last negative test? suddenly that information is unknown.  he was supposed to show up to debates early to get tested but he was late...had he already tested positive at that point and just not want that information out there. 

did they just presume that he would not get sick...since they don't think it's a big deal?  did they figure just don't tell anyone and ride it out.  if he got no symptoms then they could say it's not big deal and use that in the campaign....but then he got symptoms.  suddenly they had to come clean about it?

people were testing positive.  when was he positive.  just more stuff we will either never know or that will come out at some later date.  

love that his followers are acting like everyone should be speaking of him in the highest regard since he has covid...it's his own stupidity and refusal to abide by even the most basic standards that has him in this position.  also he has never given anyone the least bit of kindness, empathy, sympathy...he mocked a handicapped reporter.  he made jokes when Clinton has pneumonia during the 2016 campaign.  suddenly we are all supposed to be sympathetic to him. we don't even know what or if he even has covid quite honestly.  maybe they felt confident taking a joy ride around the hospital because he was really admitted for a mental health breakdown.  

the lies are the most trustworthy part of this administration.  you know they will lie. it's all you can really count on. 

several others in the party have tested positive.  i suspect the information is now getting locked down.  all McConnell is concerned about is whether they will have enough healthy Senate members to vote in their justice pick.  of course, it was at her announcement that much of the transmission seems to have happened.  very few wearing masks, no social distancing.  it's like the Republican Party members think that God will protect them for this virus...surprise...God did not protect them.  

still his supporters do not wear masks.  most of those outside the hospital that he waved to from the circus car were not social distancing or masking.  are these people the most idiotic people known to exist? how can they see their beloved cult leader taken to the hospital with covid and still not take any precautions.  do they ever see that the emperor has no clothes? 

Kelly Anne and her daughter have it now...i thought Kelly Anne quit to save her family....you would think she would be totally uninvolved at this time, but clearly that is not true.  Chris Christy was admitted.  haven't heard anything more about that.  he said he drove himself in and was admitted for an abundance of precaution.  let me tell you, hospitals are far to busy to admit people with covid who aren't sick but may possibly get sick.  it just doesn't happen.  another lie?  or another elitist getting treated better than the wretched poor.

our Covid positives have been over 100/day for 10 days in a row now.  Anchorage and Fairbanks have the highest numbers...there are a scattering of cases in the various villages. as it gets colder and it is, this could become more of a problem.  

maybe the justice pick will come down with covid?  that could delay things as well.  we are so far over due for some fairness in all of this. it's time for the shit to hit the fan on the right.  they've been getting away with so much crap for so long.  it's insane.  then trump does his crazy ride around the hospital while he has covid...it's so bizarre and so crazy.  it's almost unreal? who is that arrogant, stupid and egotistical....and needy....well trump is. 

lots of rumors...one that trump will quit so that pence can pardon him.  his debate lost him ground.  he looked like a lunatic ranting and raving.  of course, wallace is now being demonized by the right.  maybe he is waking up to the lunatic they have cultivated over there at fox news. 

i do suspect there could be a rash of suicides on the right after some of his cult members wake up and realize they left their souls in the oval office at trumps feet. 

i suspect a few of them were decent people at one time...not miller, that guy is a nut job!!

on the plus side...the gay community is taking over the proud boys name...it's hilarious and effective.  thank you boys!!  :-)  

it's already 1 am and i'm still not asleep in bed.  that is the way of the night shifter.  i have gotten a few things accomplished today and yesterday actually.  never enough.  still need to get working on the flooring.  bathroom first.  

liked many of these from Independence as well. gotta start working on this years calendar. 

everything is slow this year.  

not the puppies, they are still pretty high energy. need to call in the morning and get Ivy scheduled for knee xrays.  start there and see if that is the cause of her limping after walks.  she seems to not notice while we are on the trails.

i guess there was a small plane crash in 2019. the pilot had a really high alcohol level...imagine flying with all that alcohol on board.  yikes!!  5x legal limit!!

i guess one of trumps associates was recently hospitalized for suicide ideation.  he was waving around a gun in a domestic situation and threatening suicide.  he was previously a campaign manager and still involved i guess....i'm sure trump barely knew him.  he barely knows everyone who hits the news for whatever reason.  amazing how quickly he forgets those who no longer worship him or please him...that alone is evidence he may have dementia...haha.  

the debate seems like ages away already.  this administration is a whole other batch of crazy every day.  hoping we get sanity back in the white house and some peace.

Covid Kitty has been chilling inside a bit more i think.  the girls are both in here with me..Ivy and Miss Breezy Chatterbug.  

Breezy has been coming downstairs a bit more.  still not totally comfortable down there but she is venturing a bit more

we shall see what craziness happens tomorrow.

that much i feel pretty sure of. well, i'll get some fresh water and late night snacks.  at least when i sleep it's peaceful

such a handsome pup!!  thankful for A.  that the election is coming soon and hopefully we can have some knowledge if the madness will go on or cease B. that humans rarely live to be 100...some of these fools need to go!!  C. that i have my sweet puppies and kittens to keep me entertained.
