a week of headaches....

 this was recently painted on someones garage door.  i think it's pretty awesome!!  it's near Cheney Lake if you are interested in seeing it live!

 yesterday i had my gyn appointment and then hit two lakes for walks with the dogs.  Cheney Lake and University Lake. did some errands between that. there were some swans out on University Lake, they were there again today as well. not as close to shore though.

 there were big pumpkins at Costco for $8.99 so i found this one that i decided would be perfect for my car pumpkin.  i think it turned out pretty cool.  will no doubt be rotten before the party comes. today i cooked up pumpkin seeds.  was thinking I'd make bread, but it is now getting kind of late.

 I'm enjoying the fall colors where i can.  always a favorite time of year.

 had to be npo for my CT scan today. that added to the headache...small things will add up to make it worse.  so i had a headache while they did the CT.  felt a bit drained, i think once i told them of my headache they were a bit relieved, maybe prior to that they thought i wasn't doing well with the procedure. it was fine. hopefully i hear soon if there is anything to hear.

 i ate at the hospital right after and then took the dogs back to the university lake.  they always love it there, it was raining so seemed like a good day to just chill.  back home i ended up resting much of the afternoon with this dang headache.  i still can feel knots so i may see if i can schedule a massage soon.  finally just opted to take some excedrin. i was trying to avoid it as i feel like I've been using it too much this week.

 the headache is a bit better now.  i head back to work again tomorrow night.

 finally got to the bills tonight.  just was tired last night.  watched the rest of season 8 of the call the midwife show.  always enjoy that.  guess i needed to veg out yesterday and again today...though today didn't feel very relaxing.

 should have about 4 cups of pumpkin for baking though.  i need to put it in bags and freeze it if i don't cook it up.

 tamarack tree, also known as a larch.  it is coniferous and deciduous, which makes it pretty cool in my mind.  the needles all turn yellow and fall off.  so you get pretty new needles every spring.  they do well in bogs and post fires.

 many of these are at Cheney the other day.  the dogs were amp'd and ready to run.  got some tennis ball time in with them, of course.

 the car is on the deck now.  it may be filled with rain. 

 i have been enjoying all the pretty colors of leaves.

 news is not so great for this administration i think.  the iitoo seems to be losing it more and more.  tweeting crazy crap more and more. he still has his defenders though i suspect there are some cracks showing.  a second whistle blower is coming forward.  the administration is not being cooperative at all.  of course, the fools in the GOP, who were all screaming constitutional ideals when Clinton was being impeached for sex and a lie, are now all screaming fake, kangaroo court...clearly, they never cared about the constitution at all, they only wanted to win. 

 for all the crap they say about the clintons and obama, none of them obstructed justice the way this administration has.  they handed over the information requested, put up with repeated investigations into Benghazi, emails...whatever.  Hillary even sat through an 11 hour interrogation...all of this to no avail...they found nothing to charge them with.  they had nothing and now they are obstructing justice and even saying he shouldn't be investigated at all.  that he and those around him are above the law...seems odd that these GOP folks who always scream that they are against big government are totally fine with this administration taking over the government and not allowing for any checks and balances. if you don't like big government, how is it you are fine with this?  it makes no sense really.

 but so far they don't seem to be wavering much in their support. 

 Turkey is already taking advantage of this foolish decision by the iitoo, he didn't listen to any of the military...since he believes he knows more than anyone else anyway.  now our allies, the kurds, may end up abandoned and slaughtered and Isis will be able to build back up again.  he takes a phone call from the turkey leader and then makes a quick decision that benefits turkey and russia.  he really does work for vlad.

 he has trump towers in turkey and so this personally benefits him no doubt. 

 he is destroying any credibility we had left in this world with our allies.  nobody will help our soldiers, yes we all want to get out of these wars but we all also know that there is a way to extricate yourself and it's not to abandon your allies. everything he does seems to be what put wants of him.  what did they talk about in those private meetings, what conversations exist in these super secret vaults? when will some members of his administration put country before party? will they ever?

 it's disgusting really.  a few have spoken out about the situation in Syria with the kurds, but will they do anything more than make a few comments and then sit back while the kurds are slaughtered?  i doubt it. 

 he needs to be gone.  I'm still hoping that someone will get a conscience within his own ranks and take him out somehow.  i think the best hope for out nation getting through this is for him to be driven out by his own party.  will his most loyal followers accept it, it's doubtful.  it will take fools like hannity, rush, carlson to come out loudly against him.  pence is now implicated as well in all of this scandal with Ukraine.  they have all climbed in bed with the devil and now their souls are forever tainted.  we all make choices. we all have to live with those choices. 

 i would love to see some of them go to jail for putting this fool before our nation. 

 fox is no doubt having a more difficult time fawning over their crazy leader. it's such a strange station.  the viewers are so loyal. I've met many who only get their "news" from fox.  many who also have it on 24 hours/day.  i do not see this in my patients rooms who are not fox people.  not sure why those on the right have become so addicted to this station and seem to watch nothing else.  i for one, think nobody should fall asleep with any news on.  it can't be good for you  mentally.

 the sad truth is many of these folks are so sucked in they have seemingly lost control of their faculties.  they are filled with rage and have a belief in all the network shoves at them.  despite much of it being total crap.  i see it in my patients rooms, i turn to fox anytime there is actual news happening and it's appalling how they cover it or don't cover things at all.  they are constantly filling their viewers with conspiracy theories over facts. 

 there is just the slightest of movement on the gop side, not his base for sure, but some are actually feeling the impeachment inquiry is valid and needed.

 if this conduct is not impeachable...what is?  that was asked in an article by Ruth Marcus.  why was Clintons actions impeachable but not his.  the only reason he hasn't lied under oath is that his lawyers know he is incapable of telling the truth at baseline so putting him under oath would be a disaster.  still the American people deserve to know the truth of what is really going on in this administration.  it sounds like it's a disaster.  they have all been trying to prevent the worst of it...in the Turkey situation, they have failed.

 thanks GOP, now the wealthy pay less in taxes than the middle class.  our deficit is spiraling out of control. 

 it's all a bit nuts right now.  the divide is getting deeper between the two sides as many dig in.  i guess i have dug in as well.  I'm just tired of all the excuses, what aboutisms, and looking the other way at terrible behavior. if any of these things were being done by a Democrat the folks on the right would be flipping out.  i mean they have flipped out over much less...like the color of a jacket or the type of mustard Obama used.  this fool, however, can do no wrong.

 a NY judge deemed the arguments against releasing trumps tax information as foolish...on to the next step.  he also lost in another court regarding the release of the Mueller grand jury information to the house judiciary committee.  they will move up the courts no doubt as the trump team do everything they can to avoid the inevitable.  obstruction...blocking...those are the land marks of the GOP . it's what they do best.  for all they say about the Dems being corrupt, the GOP have been at a far more efficient level of corruption for years it seems.

 the seagulls have not left the area.  i know they leave Anchorage area. 

 love watching these waves. i was a bit nervous for the dogs to get out there too much, though they did pretty well.

 my sponges are all dry in the garage.  haven't even checked them for a bit.  i got focused on other stuff.

 the crazy time will happen with Christmas time.  I'll send out calendars as usual...just have to get to them.  perhaps my next stretch off. 

 will try to crash early tonight again...that means before 2 am for me.

thankful for: A. another test done.  all i have left is the flu shot and the follow up shingles, unless i end up needing follow up related to the CT.  B.  having access to medical care  C. having generally good health
