the pups wore their scarves into Home Depot. was looking at options for my bathroom counters...of course, the counter i used in my kitchen is no longer available...so will price out other options. debated changing out the entire vanity...cheaper...maybe initially but then again. doing that forces me into floor re-do...which then means a new toilet down stairs...may be easier to just sand the old vanities and give them a revive with new tops.

watched a bit of news..it's crazy out there. so strange...the folks on the right don't really even attempt to defend any of this crap they simply deny everything, and then deflect back at the Dems...just as they have always done. they don't even bother to read any of the facts because they know the fools following them won't read any of it but will instead wait to be told on fox and other conservative outlets that it's all fake news. that what they are hearing is all just another hoax put out by the deep state. everyone is their enemy...and they just take the bait and move on. nothing to see here....it's working so well, which is why they just keep doing it over and over again.

more crap comes out every day that makes it all worse than anyone could have imagined...it would help if his most loyal followers would wake up.

Guiliani is supposed to be his personal lawyer but he seems to be acting as his go between in national affairs. traveling to other nations in order to try to get these places to buy into their crazy conspiracy theories and give them some proof that those conspiracy theories are true. it's nuts. he's pushing not just Ukraine but others to investigate our own nations investigators. that is how paranoid the right has become. they don't trust our own intelligence...this is what happens when conspiracy theory freaks get into powerful positions.

the read out of the talk trump had with the Ukrainian president shows him repeating over and over that the guy should talk to Barr and Guiliani and investigate Biden and his son and...their conspiracy theory that it was actually bots in Ukraine that interfered with our election,not Russia...why? well clearly trump has been working to aid Rus and Put by getting those pesky sanctions removed. they are there because Rus interfered with our elections and because he annexed Crimea.

clearly Trump has been tasked by his master to find a way out of those sanctions. so far he has not been successful...if only he could prove that Put didn't interfere and get Ukraine to be cool with having Rus take over their nation....if only...so he pulls the military aid and asks for something from the Ukrainians in order to get those funds.

meanwhile Barr was urging other governments to aid in investigating our own CIA and FBI activities surrounding the 2016 election...it's crazy...it would be hilarious if it wasn't so real and dangerous. do these nuts really believe all these conspiracy theories about all this crap? is seems they do...otherwise perhaps they would actually be doing their jobs instead of chasing bull shit theories.

trump has made threats in tweets and speeches about the whistle blower...despite continuously stating that they hire only the best they live paranoid of the leaks...the leaks are only happening because people around them are no doubt terrified by the insanity they see around them. so paranoid the truth of the nut job running our nation into oblivion will be discovered to be a nut job or that they will be discovered to be aware he's a nut job and therefore be deemed as having joined this non-existent deep state and be excoriated.

you would think that Mueller would speak out more since discovering that trump is trying to get Australia and others to investigate the investigation. you'd think someone would....

many of the read outs of these calls between the potus and other nation leaders...especially Rus and Saudi's are being moved into a more secret and secure server because they don't trust any of the staff around them. if any one would bother to read the Mueller report, he was very concerned about Rus interference and a repeat job. he also was very clear that while he could not convict trump, he could not clear him either, especially on the obstructions charges.

his followers still want us to all ignore all his wrong doings as nothing burgers because of the time and money involved in the effort...but they don't blink twice any time they bring up the old Hillary emails and the possibility of yet another investigation into the same stuff that they have never found any proof of...that is the nothing burger there. she is not in power but she is red meat for their base....an easy distraction for the half wits who have opted to believe everything they hear on the rights propaganda machine over reading a dam thing.

i had a co-worker mention to me that he was well armed and ready for civil war so it's not out of the realm of possibilities that the fools blindly following this hack job of an administration could erupt into an attempt at civil war....i highly doubt it would be overly successful but it could lead to deaths and public disarray for a time.

the iitoo is clearly not of a real understanding of what treason is. of course, the constitution in trumps mind really just means him. he is who he swore the oath to not the actual constitution but to his vision of what being potus is....lord knows that man has never read any of the constitution except perhaps a synopsis given to him by the NRA. that means...don't let anyone take any guns or make any laws to protect citizens from gun lunatics.

the state department is still looking into her emails...case closed with no charges....or not? the classified information that was in the emails was not classified at the time it was spent. it appears most of the stuff really wasn't in need of being classified. low level harassment is really all this is. they are going after people who sent her emails...the only damage to these folks is that it will go in their record, maybe impacting their ability to get clearance for government jobs in the future...even though they do not currently work in the government...so a waste of money.

the people of Hong Kong is still protesting, days and days later. some violence...they want to keep the freedoms they have despite mainland China residents not having the freedoms they enjoy.

it has rained before and since, but we got maybe a sprinkle here or there.

i really need to make a few more appointments tomorrow. check those boxes. it's also time for the flu shot. don't want to get the flu. don't really like shots either. haha. need to make an appointment to get my shot for shingles. it sounds like a miserable skin thing so I'd rather avoid that.

there is always that to do list...then there are the fun things that i would like to get to. making the calendar for 2020, making some fleece skirts, deciding on a project to create for Christmas and of course, the Massacre. :-)

we shall see what the week brings. i head back to work. trump will continue to tweet crazy shit. guiliani will say crazy shit. the right will continue to obstruct and blur the truth to protect their iitoo.

when will it all end? how will it all end? i have no idea.

i suspect the generally leaky office of the potus will leak more before the week is over. they will eventually not be able to turn to Clinton's emails and benghazi as a distraction any more...trump will become so nuts that it will become obvious to everyone except his most loyal trumpbots.

the aurora look like they are making a good show. sadly we appear to be under major clouds. i could drive to Talkeetna and catch them..but that is quite the drive.

was looking at the Sheldon cabin page. i was lucky enough to go to the original mountain house, thank you M and G!! they have recently done a remodel it seems of the old space and built a fancy and expensive new space. it looks like the old space is not being used as it was before but is instead more for day trips and prepping for outdoor activities. they have built a stairway to the top from the glacier...so a bit less of a scary climb but kind of sad that the adventurers will have less access and the wealthy will be the main visitors there.

looks pretty sweet if you can afford the expense...it's a pretty beautiful spot. amazing really. can't really blame them for cashing in but still always sad to see something so historic like that be transformed that way.
