waiting...

 my friends flight was delayed so i paid some bills and figured I'd blog a bit.  I'm sure i have more packing i could do for this trek north.

 walked with my friend who is back from  Canada...welcome home!!  enjoyed the friend time and the dog time...and of course, the beautiful fall colors.

 the rest are more from Sitka.  those bears were sure cute

 news is pretty depressing, not that many on the other side will hear it or believe it even if they did happen to hear it.  i doubt it is stuff that is reported on conservative propaganda sources. they do not want to hear anything bad about trump or his administration.

 it's getting to a very dangerous place in our nation.  we laugh because in many ways that is all we have.  for all the rights gun crap about needing to be able to take on the US military, we all know no amount of stock piled assault rifles could do that.  they foolishly believe that the Bundy's ( i think that is the name) beat the US Government...in reality, the US government opted to not take it to the next level...WACO was not pretty...so it's not that they can't.

 new reports have trump and those that follow him happily giving tax dollars to right to him through his many hotels and resorts.  pence stayed over 180 miles from where his meetings were in Ireland in order to stay and put money in trumps pockets. 

 many gop senators are using his posh hotels.  he's even got military going out of their way to use his hotel and land in an airstrip on Scotland near his resort as the resort was doing poorly as was the airport.  now our military pay top dollar for gas and hotels rather than stay in our military bases scattered across Europe.  if this turns out to be true it is a gross  misuse of funds and resources. 

 he also appears to be using his powers to try to bride or coerce Ukraine in to helping him despite funds already being allocated to Ukraine to help fight Rus encroachment.  he's holding up those funds.

 he is also taking funds from military projects and FEma to fund the wall he said Mexico would pay for.  those fools forgive him all and look the other way from all.

 after the bull they have gone after Dems for to have them look the other way at this gross incompetence is beyond appalling.  it is tearing at the fabric of our nation.  they are allowing corruption to reach a level we have never seen before.

 the only good thing i can see coming out of all of this is that the corruption will reach such a pinnacle that we will finally take more serious action in rooting out all corruption.  we know it happens on all sides, but the GOP seem to have perfected it under this administration. 

 their moral and ethical compasses have all failed.  we all knew their bloviating about being the party that all Christianity should form around have been proven to be nothing but a smoke screen for a corruption the likes this nation has never seen.  all they accuse the Clintons of look like childs play compared to the crap that is being pulled off. 

 GOP members are quitting rather than speak out. 

 this bear is begging people to wake up and see the corruption..but alas, they refuse to even think of any possibility of corruption in this administration as they are salivating so much at getting their way...build the wall, build the wall...they think this will be what makes them safe in this world.  fools...all of them. 

 he lies, be bloviates.  he yields a sharpie and they believe. 

 there have been some great sharpie meme's...laughter is all i have most of the time.  the obvious is so not obvious to so many. 

 the bears were doing tricks to get fruit.  it's also a way for those who care for them to see them at different angles and make sure they are doing OK

 a short walk at this whale park...really we all just went berry picking.  the berries were great out there on the island

 love the rain forests of Southeast. 

 how will this area look in 20 years? 

 will the slugs be gone?

 will the waterfalls have dried up?

 cherish what we have...the times they are changing.  there is a greedy group out there who want to destroy all they can to get what they can. 

 the earth generally survives, civilizations do not. 

 we had a good run i guess.  history will show the GOP and this mad man being responsible for the destruction of this nation.  willing to cede power to Rus.  Put must be so thrilled with the job he has done...it was really pretty easy, sadly.

 a little lake and our turn around point.

 so many trails I'd love to explore there.  another time perhaps. 

 better get off the computer.  i will soon be making a run to the airport. :-)  always fun having visitors.
