drive along Turnigan Arm

 lite walk on Potters with the dogs and then a little drive down Turnigan Arm.  always fun. you just never know what you will see.

 lots of cool ice formations from little water falls. stopped for those.  enjoyed the sunset.

 and a train....but as i was watching it the train started to back up. i had no idea if it would continue to back up so i gave up and just headed home with stops for sunset shots.

 it was a beautiful day out there today.

 the dogs seem to be improving as far as energy levels go.  Ivy was wanting to chase tennis ball and even to wrestle. not back to her crazy self but improving every day.

 eating is still not normal.  Tusker doing better as far as eating goes. she just ate bites...then this evening i cut up two chicken breasts and cooked those up....such enthusiastic eating.  Ivy was wagging and taking as much as i would give her.

 perhaps too much as a few hours later she had another episode of puking.  not too much chicken really.  some partially digested.  too graphic?  most of my friends are either nurses or vets/techs so they can handle this.  haha.

 i had given her a low dose of reglan Saturday night which had seemed to help so i repeated that and waited a few hours...no further vomiting so i gave her a few more bites of the chicken...which she again was enthusiastic about...so fingers crossed.  if she isn't better by tomorrow i will call vet.

 this little area is easily accessibly and always pretty.  a nice sunset spot.

 the tide was going out.

 the arm is always very dramatic. huge tide changes.

 add in the ice and a sunset and a train.  :-)  that is happiness.

 the dogs seemed pretty chill with going for a drive.

 with them being a bit sick I've been off my game.  we only really took one day off of walking.

 Ivy for sure likes the chicken more than the hamburger though.  hmm.  picky girl.

 could try to mix the chicken in with rice tomorrow.  guess i should go thaw more breasts and cook up some rice.  get these pups back on track to health.

 i always worry it's something worse and I'm sitting on it.  actually slept last night.  it was lovely.

 now i have more laundry to do.  at least she puked on the bed.

 more information keeps trickling out.  at some point it will pour out.  truth is like that.  it comes out when you least expect it to.  of course, some crap in history is lost forever.  we never know it all.

 not sure Moscow Mitch will be able to slide this under the rug as easily as he hoped. defending this fool has got to have a major downside.  soul crushing really...having to sell your soul off to support such a fool.  that guy sold his soul years ago.  probably sealed the deal the day Obama was sworn in and he met with others in DC and vowed to do every thing in their power to prevent him from having any success.

 now they have this as pay back.  kissing ass to the biggest fool that ever fell in to this office. he did have Russia's help and he is hoping for that help again.  the right really do not care if Russia interferes as long as they can carry on with their agenda.  so sure they are right on everything and the left is wrong on everything.  we can't all be right all the time though.  it's just not possible.

 no person, no political party for sure, no religion.  never always right. they are wrong...and defending something like it is always right will force you to paint yourself into a corner. sooner or later they fail...and then it's soul crushing.

 i never could trust anything.  never felt i could rely on anything or anyone 100%...not even myself. i screw up all the time.  we all do. when it came to religions i found them all to be wrong....funny that is exactly what Joseph Smith found too, right?  that they were all wrong...which is why he made his own religion.  he was wrong too though. no human could ever get it all right.  it's just not possible.  that would be too easy.

 it's easier to just presume I'm stupid and that is why i see things the way i do.  easy to presume that i have been fooled.

 i used to see things totally differently.  i hear my old words in their words.  i changed.  i think that shows I'm capable of change.  i saw things one way, i looked, i saw, i changed how i saw things.

 how can i be all wrong now when i have put so much time and energy into pondering so much in life.  it's not possible that i am all wrong.  it's not possible that they are all right.  that is where we are though.  each side believing they are all right and the other side is all wrong.

 but really...look at this fool in charge of things.  listen to what he says, read the tweets for Gods sake...he has no business being in the position he is in. he has no idea what he is doing.

 he was telling his loyal donors at his club about the impending attack on Iran before he spoke to the congress, the gang of 8.  this could have possibly put our soldiers at risk.  he also may have given them financial tips by blabbing.  this is life and death stuff....and he wants to brag about it to his loyalists?

 he wants to be a bad ass...

 Lev is cooperating...that could be interesting.  he seems to have some records. what will come of it, we shall have to wait and see. every day there is more...many just look the other way.  it's more comfortable, like i said, to believe be stupid than to actually start to look at some of the most obvious stuff.

 sad to see Booker step out.  i do like him.  he would be an excellent VP option.  no idea who the Dems will put up.  will they beat trump and his Russian support crew....along with the right wing media fools...it will be a tough run. his loyal followers seem to believe everything they are fed by fox news.  it's amazing to pop over there or watch it in my patients rooms.  excuses, total bull.

 to their loyal followers it seems pretty easy to spoon feed them crap and for them to eat it up.  it's so bizarre. Australia's on fire...liberal plot, no plan on this killing...liberals love terrorists...making liberals the enemy.  so many want an enemy, trump is smart enough to have figured that out.  keep spewing hate towards liberals and they will chant and hate the liberals.

 reading about a US citizen who died while detained in Egypt....Trumps favorite dictator, he likes to say.  he has said nothing about this horrific treatment of this captor...held only because he was American. detained only because he was American.

 just like he seemingly ignored the murder of Kashoggi.  he has said little to Saudi about this...and has promised Saudi's our military...as long as he pays us...our military farmed out to a wealthy nation that should have no need for our military.

 Pelosi held back the Impeachment papers.  she did not get what she demanded of McConnell, but the time has made it more possible that there may be more testimony...will it make any difference really or is McConnell and these GOP members just bluffing. new notes and phone records were just released tonight between Lev Parnas and Giuliani. they had Yovanovitch under surveillance...

 trump brought us to the brink of war...which seems to have prompted Bolton to desire to speak out.  it was all based on a lie...there was on imminent threat...after all the bluffing and excuses and dodging questions...he finally just said, "it doesn't really matter" if there is an imminent threat.  he seems to believe he has absolute control and the GOP seems totally fine with allowing him absolute control...so much for states rights and a small federal government.  haha.

 trump also has plans to take even more money that congress allocated elsewhere for his precious wall...that has been proven easy to climb over.

 he has also refused to release aid for Puerto Rico who just had a big quake after suffering still the effects of hurricane maria a few years back. his buddies in Russia are up to their old tricks, hacking for his benefits.  they aren't even doing it secretively.  why bother.  this administration has done little to nothing to fight any efforts by russia to interfere in the next election...as long as it helps them.

 many still  believe the Russia created propaganda that it was Ukraine that interfered not Russia....Putin is so happy with these trump supporters. off to hand feed Ivy some yogurt...
